NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO BEGIN REGISTRATION PROCESS

Process to Start your Journey Our Business is your Business. We Believe as Africans that we can help each other Grow,. We do not have Monthly Fees, the Price you see is the Price you Pay.

50% Deposit required upfront, which Covers Registration (Not Refundable) of your Website (for 12 Months) on the World Wide Web. Registration of .com and .africa (or .personalized) domains will have an extra R350 added on top of Registration Fee of R600 (2024 Price Increase) which will be Total of R950 for Registration for Domains which are not .co.za. Process of Registration takes 24 Hours and on the second day, we Begin Construction of your Website and then Proceed to Publish your Website on the third day.

The Balance is due on the third day after your Website is Published. It is important to remember that ALL BALANCES MUST BE PAID UPON PUBLISH SCHEDULE OF WEBSITE( ON DAY 3 FROM DAY OF REGISTRATION should we have delays in Publishing your Website due to Load Shedding) If the Load Shedding delays Scheduled Publish, your Balance must not be Outstanding on day 3, if Publish is on Schedule, Payment must be made after you are notified of the Scheduled Publish (See Heading LATE PAYMENT PENALTIES TO UNDERSTAND MORE) 

Updating Your Website

PLEASE NOTE: NO CUSTOMER WILL Be provided ACCESS to OUR Hosting Panel to Edit or Amend their own Website. All amendments requests are sent to us by WhatsApp and Job is booked with Our Developers to work on and updated as per the Amendments Request Process. See below heading.

All Information required for your Website must be ready on the first 24 hours of your Website Registration. Any other additional Information to add to your Website can always be added at a later stage. Website Publish will be on day 3 from day of Registration. You will have 30 days (From day of Registration) to make FREE Additions or Request Changes on your website.

You will have 1 Free Website Update/Amendments every 90 days (3 Months), Maximum of 4 Per Annum. On a newly Published Website, you have 1 Free Amendments Request per week for 14 Days (Maximum of 2) Any Additional update requested 14 days after Publish of new website  (or after Free Update lapsed) will be Charged at R100 Per Request/Per Day. We always advice our customers to Group Updates and  submit all at the same time to ensure they save money and pay once for Updates. If you send an update request in the morning, and send another one in the afternoon, it’s counted as 2 updates. Every time a Developer is requested to work on a website, a Job Card is open and they must be paid for the Job Card. Our Websites are the most affordable in South Africa with no Monthly Fees. 

All requests for Website Updates to be booked and admin will notify once edits are completed. Screenshot and Highlight will assist us understand where you require changes. All amendments communication by WhatsApp ONLY for record keeping of requests. No Email/Telephone or Voicenote updates will be accepted.

Renewal & Expiry

Renewal Fee Every 12 Months from date of Registration. Renewal Fee is R600 (Subject to Increase Prior Notice) which covers Renewal for another 12 Months & Admin Fees. Renewal Fee for .com and .africa (or .personalized) domains will have an extra R350 added on top of the R600 for Renewal. Meaning if you have a .Africa domain, your Renewal Fee will be R600 + R350 total of R950 

Reminders will be sent 30 days before renewal date. Should your Website Expire, recovery Fee will cost R350 extra on top of R600 Renewal Fee. Your Expired Website can only be Recovered 7 days after expiry. After these days, its Deleted Automatically.Should you fail to renew and fail to recover, your domain name cannot be re-registered for another 3-6 month and you will be at risk of losing your domain name.

Security

Our ONLY Means of Communication is Whatsapp (For Security Encryption Reasons) We will not send you an email to click on links or open attachements. We will not send you an email when we notify you of expiry of your website. We will not call you and request you to log onto your email or request OTPs. It is IMPORTANT to REMEMBER that We will only Communicate with you by WHATSAPP on our ONLY and MAIN WHATSAPP number 081 753 7193.

It is your responsibility to ensure security of your passwords and emails. Every customer is sent details on how to change passwords. We will ONLY Reset your Password and Communicate with you ONLY on the number we have on our System. If you have changed your WhatsApp number, it is your full resposibility to ensure you update the number with us.

For Security reasons, we do not create Social Media Accounts for our customers, if you do not have Social Media Accounts for your Business Please Create them, at least 2 Social Media Accounts [WhatsApp & Instagram]

Refund

30 DAYS REFUND GUARANTEE - of the Balance 

You are entitled to 50% Refund (Refund of the Balance of 50%) if you are not happy with the Website or the Design or what ever reason you are not happy. The balance you have paid will be refunded back to you within 30 days from day of Refund. 

DEPOSIT IS NOT REFUNDALE as it covers Registration  for 12 Months and Admin. See Domain Transfer to Transfer your Domain to a new provider. 

AFTER 30 DAYS from DAY of REGISTRATION, Your BALANCE IS NOT REFUNDABLE. IF YOUR WEBSITE IS SUSPENDED OR SERVIVES TERMINATED due to Violation of the TERMS and CONDITIONS, YOUR BALANCE IS NOT REFUNDALE. 


Your BALANCE IS ALSO NOT REFUNDABLE if we do not receive confirmation of Payment in PDF Document from your Bank. Screenshots will not be accepted as Confirmation of Payment. 


CANCELATION REQUEST

You can request Cancelation of your services within 30 days from day of Registration in writing by email or whatsapp from the email or number we have on your records. If you sent cancellation from a different email or whatsapp number, the request will not be processed. Keep your Contact Details Up to date. A refund will then be processed in 3 working days to the bank account used to make payment. 

Late Payments Penalty (JobCard)

Please note that late payment will have your website Suspended for 23 days. Late Payment means paying your balance a day later than the day it is due. Your Balance will be due immediately after your Website is Scheduled for Publish because at that point, your Website Construction is Completed. A Penalty Fee of R350 will be due for late Payment. This Penalty Fee of R350 must be paid together with the Balance to have Suspension Lifted. Should you choose not to pay the Penalty Fee of R350, your Website and Emails will be Suspended for 23 working days from day of Scheduled Publish. Should the Balance and Penalty be paid within 7 days from date of Publish, your Website Suspension will be lifted. If payment is not made over 7 days from date of Registration, YOUR WEBSITE WILL BE PERMANENTLY SUSPENDED. Deposit is not REFUNDABLE as it pays for your Website Registration for 12 Months including Admin Fees. At the Point of Permanent Suspension, your services will be terminated and you can have your Registered Website name Transferred to a New Service Provider. 


UNDERSTANDING WHY THERE ARE LATE PAYMENT FEES AND SUSPENSION

Customers need to understand that we are running a business and for a Business to operate successfully, there are Processes that must be followed and Payments that must be made on time. 

90% of Our Developers are Independent and they work according to Job Card of work allocated to them. Every Developer gets paid with a Completed Job Card which is open for 24 Hours. Should a Job Card be open for 25 Hours (which is an hour after the Job card was supposed to be closed), it counts as a second day for the Developer and we have to pay Developer for 2 Job Cards instead of 1 day Job Card. 

All customers must only Begin Process when they have all the funds ready required to pay for their Website. This will mean that you will pay the Balance as soon as you receive message that your Website is Scheduled for Publish


Every Open Job Card must be closed within 24 hours of the Job Card being opened for work. Our work is always on time and on schedule. We expect all customers to respect our Processes and Settle Balances on time to avoid Late Payment Fees and PERMANENT Suspension of their Websites.

Space & Emails

All Websites come with a standard Disk Space of 500MB

You have unlimited email accounts to create, however unlimited is controlled by space. If you receive more than 10 emails a day or often receive large files, please send us an email to request quote on extended disk space for your Website.

Disc Space is made up of your Website Contents, Images on your Websites, Emails and System Operation. You need at least 20% Free Disc Space for your System to Run without Interruptions

Please note that Images Suitable for Slide on your Home Page are Landscapes and Images Suitable for Gallery of your Products & Services are Portrait

We require good quality Images to Uphold Standards of Modern Websites we Create - NO Screen Shots Maximum 8 Images Per Slide - Landscape Images required for Slide

Payments 

Please note that all payments made, a confirmation of payment must be sent. Screenshot will not be accepted as confirmation of payment. The confirmation of payment must be in a form of a PDF Documents sent from the bank. We will begin process of Registration once we receive confirmation of payment, and upon completion of your website, confirmation of payment for the balance must be sent. Please note that should we not receive confirmation of payment, your Website will be suspended. (Please see Heading "Suspension of Services" to understand the Process of Suspended and Termination of Services. In the process of refund, no refund will be processed if we do not have confirmation of payment for the balance. 

Confirmation of Payment is Crucial to the Audit Compliance of any Business, and we expect every customer to respect our Processes, Terms and Conditions in order for our Business to be Compliant by Law. If we do not receive the confirmation of payment, your payment does not count as income and we will fail our Audit.

Payments (Deposit & Balance)

The time to Complete Process of your Website for Publish takes 2 days (Min) and 3 days (Max) All Balances must be paid within day 2/3 (Upon receiving the message for a Scheduled Publish of your Website because at the Point of a Scheduled Publish, your Website Construction is Completed) from day of Registration/Upon Submission to Publish your Website. Our Website Development Process Takes 3 days, from day of Registration. On first days, before registration, Deposit of 50% must be paid. The balance of 50% must be settled on or before the 2nd/3rd day/upon Submission to Publish your Website. PLEASE NOTE, DO NOT BEGIN THE PROCESS IF YOUR WEBSITE INFORMATION OR FUNDS ARE NOT READY. Once we begin the process, Deposit must be paid before we Registration and balance must be paid Upon Scheduled Publish of your Website. Your website will be published on or before the third day, see Amendments & Updates on the heading below. We do not meet Face to Face with clients, every communication done electronically through our WhatsApp and all Communicate must be Typed for record Keeping. [NO FACE to FACE] (NO VOICE NOTES)

Failure to Pay Balance

Failure to Settle Balance within 3 working days from day of Registration will have your Website Suspended for 23 days and Incur Penalty of R350 on top of the Balance amount Due. Should the Balance Including Penalty Fee still be outstanding after day 7 From date of Registration, We Reserve the Right to Terminate Services (Terminate Constructed Website) with Immediate Effect without Prior Notice. This means that if you do not Pay the Balance and the Penalty Fee by day 7, your Website will be Permanently Demolished. Your services will be Downgraded to Domain Only. You can have your services Converted to Domain & Email (Email Services and Receive Email) by Paying a Balance to for Conversion to Domain & Email which is displayed on our Home Page or ask Admin for Balance. Failure to Convert this within the 7 days from date of Registration will incur additional Setup cost of R350. Please see Heading Below about Transfer of Domain. All Deposit Payments are not refundable as it goes to Registration of your Domain for 12 Months and Setup Costs. 

Ethics are our Number 1 Priority, and we expect the same from our Customers. We also expect our Customers to familiarize themselves of the full Terms and Conditions as well as Our Processes. In our line of Business, many people take chances expecting to receive services for free or for fraction of the cost, by not paying balances. Please NOTE we have ZERO Tolerance to that kind of Behavior and We Reserve the Right to Terminate Services of any Customer who is in Violation of our Terms & Conditions including Our Processes which Form Part of your Contractual Obligations in Obtaining Services from us for the During of 12 months continuously until services have expired or terminated either by Customer or Us. Our Developers earn from each Website they work on, and they do not get paid until the Job Card is closed. The Job Card needs to be closed when Balance is paid within 3 days. Failure to follow our Processes, Terms and Conditions affects the internal systems.

Website Viewing

Website Adaptations comes in 3 forms, Desktop View, Laptop View and Handset/Cellphone View. This Adaptations are Automatic once a Website is Developed. Structure of the Website is Reflected by a Website Template which forms part of the Foundation of the Website before Development Starts. The Template/Structure ensures the Viewing Adapts Automatically on any Device you use to view and Screen sizes play a HUGE role in what you see and how is will display the website. The Website Content will always Display, but the Structure changes with Adaptation from the screen you viewing from. The Structure you see on a Desktop Screen will be Completely different from a Cellphone Screen, the Template still remains the same Template, but it has adjusted to the viewing on the small screen of a cellphone. 

Approved Changes

You can change anything inside your Website, you can add images, move content up, change wording and content, change colour themes, add emails and additional numbers, add pages, add contact form and more. This changes occurred inside the Template of the website and did not affect the overall structure of the Website, from Desktop, Laptop and Cellphone Viewing. 

UN-Approved Changes

Once your requested changes involves changing the Structure of a Website, which is the Template that is referred to as the Foundation of the website. This requested changes will affect the overall viewing of the website on all devices. The Website Viewing Adapts Automatically, 100%. Should 1% or more of the structure of the Website (template) change, the Automatic Adaptation is no longer 100%. We always advice against requested changes of the Template or the Structure of the Website from any of our Existing Templates. IF YOU INSIST ON MAKING CHANGES TO THE STRUCTURE, the changes will be made as per your request and the viewing adaptations errors  on different screens cannot be blamed on us. You will be charged to have your Website Reconstructed. If you are not happy with your Website Development, we are more that willing to issue refund of your 50% Balance which is Refundable within 30 days from day of Registration. The 50% Deposit IS NOT REFUNDABLE. After Terminating your Services with us and receiving a Refund of your Balance, you can request Transfer of Domain to a New Service Provider. At this point, your Domain is already registered and ready to be transferred to your new service provider. We work on first come first serve bases, No customer is more Important over another customer. All our customers are equally important to us. All information for your website must be sent via WhatsApp. Wording for Website must be Typed in your Own words, we do not create or write summaries on behalf of customers [NO SCREEN SHOTS] We do not meet Face to Face with clients, every communication done electronically through our admin portals [NO FACE to FACE]

URGENT MEANS: Hacked Email/Website Down/Website Shutdown Request/Disc Space Increase.

Privacy

We keep record of all Communications & Requests for the first 14 days of Registration. All personal information kept private in line with our Privacy Policy and POPI Act. After 14 days, all information received, (Excluding Contact Information for your Account Communication with us) will be Deleted. 

Responsibility to keep Passwords confidential and safe lies with the user. Responsibility lies with user to notify Modise Family Websites of a Down-Time Experienced by their Website or Emails.

Search Engine Recognition

Search Engine Recognition to be finalized 90-120 days from day of Registration of Website. Registration gets submitted through Google and it can take up to 14 days for Business Name to show on Search Engine and take up to 120 days for Business Category Listing in your area and Surrounding.

Email Setup

All customers will be sent email setup Instructions after Creating Email Accounts. 99% of the time, email setup settings are automatically retrieved by the Email App on your Handset (Android/IOS/APP Gallery) Should the settings not download Automatically, Please Delete the App and Download again, Inform us of that you need manual setup assistance so time can be allocated to help you setup email. Please ensure to send screenshots of every page of the setup so we can let you know what information to input for manual setup.Your Maximum Email Setup Time is 30 Minutes, if we do not receive communication from you, we move on to next customer

Please NOTE, it is IMPORTANT that you send us accurate screenshots and accurate information when setting up your email. You might be asked what make and model your device is, and what app you using for setup. This information lets us know what advanced settings your email setup might require should it not download settings automatically first time. If we are not recieving accurate information from you, your Enquiry Priority will be Set to LOW! and we will move on to another customer.

Amendments & Updates

PLEASE NOTE: NO CUSTOMER WILL Be provided ACCESS to OUR Hosting Panel to Manage/Edit/Amend their own Website. All amendments requests are sent to us by WhatsApp and Job is booked with Our Developers to work on and updated as per the Amendments Request Process. If you want to HOST with us TO DEVELOP & MANAGE your own Website, send a WhatsApp and request for Individual Hosting Plan.

WE DO NOT WORK ON ANY WEBSITE THAT IS NOT HOSTED BY US.

Please note that All Amendments must be sent by WhatsApp, and Admin will book with Developer and you will be notified once amendments are completed. Amendments period can take from 48 hours and up to 7 working days on very busy days which is usually on the last 10 days of the month and first 5 days of the month. Amendments are not treated as an Emergency, our Developers will not stop work still in progress to attend to another. All amendment jobs are booked and time will be allocated to a developer for amendments.

Modise Family Websites will from time to time Update your Website when required, update include systems, clouds and uploads. Number of Pictures or Videos uploaded on the Hosted Website might be reduced when disc space is full to prevent your website from crushing.

Publishing of Website

Our Process takes 3 working Days (Day 1 Registration) - (Day 2 Construction) - (Day 3 Publishing of Website) Publish of Website will be on day 3 from day of Registration. If extension is requested by customer, publishing of Website is to be scheduled to day 7 from day Website was registered.

We will not work on any Website without Publish Beyond this maximum 7 days. Any Edits request can be submitted after Website Publish. Please see Heading below on Edit Request for more details.

Should a customer stop Publish of Website or postpone beyond 7 days from day of Publish, we will decline. Please see heading below for Termination of Service and Redund for more details.

Pricing

Please note Price Increase on All Service from 1st January 2024.

All prices are Subject to increase prior notice and are not guaranteed, except that prices for an order that have been accepted. All Invoices are valid for 30 days, Discounted Invoices Valid for 7 Days.

Website Update/Amendments Pricing
Amendment Request Charged at R100 per Request after Depleting all your Free Amended Request. To avoid paying more or double, group all your updated information and send all at once. Once a Jobcard is Open and Closed, another request will require a new Job Card and Payment.

Payment/Refunds & Overdue Invoices

Registration fee is NOT REFUNDABLE as it is paid for the next 12 Month of your Domain. Should you wish not to continue with Building/Design & Publish of your Website with us, the total Deposit paid is not refundable as it covers Registration (12 Months) of Website Name & Admin. The balance is therefore not due should you submit in writing to our email that you wish not to continue with the Building & Publish of your Website. Your Website Address will exist till expiry date (end of 12 Months from day of Registration) of your Website should you not renew it for another year.

Invoice Balance to be settled by customer within 7 days from date of registration. Refund of the Development of Website only Refundable if written notice of cancellation is received via email by no later than 30 days from day of registration.

Should your cancellation request come after 30 days, NO Refund will be issued. Cancellations notices received after 30 days ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. If you are not happy with our work, Every customer has a 30 day Money Back Guarantee - No Questions asked. 50% Refund for Development of Website will be issued back to customer. 

Suspension & Overdue Balances

In the case of Suspension of Services due to Overdue Balances, R350 Penalty Fee including Balance will be due in the next 30 days from day of Registration. Should we not receive any payment during this 30 days, services will be permanently suspended/terminated on day 31 (No Refund). Permanent Suspension means your Services will be completely terminated with us.

A Transfer of Domain can be requested following the steps below. If your Website Renewal Deadline is missed, R350 Recovery Fee + R550 Renewal Fee will be due to recover website name. All contents (website & emails) of expired website (not renewed) are automatically deleted on system upon expiry of domain. Recovery Fee of Website from Redemption is only Valid 5 Days from day of Expiry, After that Period, we are unable to recover your website name and you can only re-register same website name in 210 days from day of Expiry.

Transfer/Termination of Services

We reserves the right to terminate services with customer due to none payments, violating our Terms and Conditions, Processes not being followed and not reaching a mutual agreement with customer. Should we Terminate your Services, or you need to terminate your services with us for what ever reason, transferring of domain to another service provider is required.

If you are terminating our services after registration of your Website is done, NO REFUND to be Issued back to Customer as Deposit Covers Registration (12 Months) & Admin.

If you are terminating our services after Development/Building of your Website is done, NO REFUND to be Issued back to Customer after 30 days from day of Registration as Balance Covers Development & Admin.

If you are terminating our services after Development/Building of your Website is done within 30 Days from day of Registration (Reason Being You Are Not Happy With Development/Building of Website or Broken Relationship) REFUND can be issued on request via email to notify us of termination and your Domain can be Transferred to your chosen Service Provider. Modise Family Websites still reserves the right to terminate services with immediate effect.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure after termination request that the chosen service provider informs them of process & period of transfer of domain. It is your responsibility as a customer to ensure you understand fully and are aware of the process to transfer a domain to your chosen service provider.

Should you wish not to proceed with Development of Website, please inform us in writing to our email. Your domain name will remain registered for 12 months from day of registration (Transfer of Domain can still be requested within the this 12 months)

Modise Family Websites reserves the right to Terminate Service with new or existing customer should processes, Terms & Conditions not be followed & respected by customers. Upon Termination of Service, Modise Family Websites will prepare Website for Transfer to customer’s new service provider. Customer has 7 Days to save very Important emails or Information as Termination of Services Includes Termination of Website Hosting which will delete all website contents with emails.

All transfer request of domains to new service providers must be completed within 30 days from day of receiving termination notice in writing. All services must be paid for in full before Transfer can be accepted on our side to your new service provider. Failure to make any overdue payments or settle existing services will result in your Transfer request declined and services permanently suspended.
